The Long Path to Progress
In most American cities, taxis and buses are the only real form of public transportation. But in years gone by, that wasn't the case. Long before the advent of the personal car and well into the 20th century, people relied on a wide range of public transport options to get around town, from buses and trains to taxis and trolleys. And so it was in Champaign-Urbana.
