This is a van service that operates within designated areas not served by fixed routes. It provides a connection from outlying areas to fixed-route service.
Trips leave the Courthouse Shelter stop every :05 and :35 each hour.
There are three ways to ride 331 Northeast Direct. Passengers may call 217.255.8888 to schedule a ride from anywhere within the boundaries or at the Courthouse Shelter; passengers may board at the scheduled times at the Courthouse Shelter; or passengers may request the operator of the bus they are transferring from to call 331 Northeast Direct.
After receiving a call, the 331 Northeast Direct operator will inform the passenger of estimated arrival time. If passenger needs to transfer at Downtown Urbana, they must inform the operator at the time of the call. Connections will be made as schedule permits.
As a courtesy to other 331 Northeast Direct passengers, please be at the scheduled location when the operator arrives. Upon arriving at a pick-up location, the 331 Northeast Direct operator will only wait two minutes for passengers to board before continuing to the next scheduled pick-up/drop-off location.
Calls will be taken until 11:15P for trips to be completed by 11:30P.
331 Notheast Direct provides curb-to-curb service. The operator will not enter driveways, dead-end streets, or cul-de-sacs. 331 Northeast Direct only operates inside the boundaries illustrated on the map.
