liveUP, a campaign for overall campus safety, launched on the University of Illinois campus during the spring 2006 semester.
The initiative, aimed at increasing students' awareness of key safety issues, takes a novel approach at reaching
University of Illinois students by pairing with local bands to offer free podcasts and MP3s of local music, as well
as practical, everyday safety tips.
